Tahini sauce is typically served with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods. Did you know that tahini is made with sesame seeds and is a great source of calcium? It’s also a good source of healthy fats, and adding it to a plant-based meal helps keep your blood sugar balanced!

I usually make tahini sauce with tahini, garlic, lemon, and water, but I just happened to have a couple of pre-cooked Love Beets in my fridge. Inspired by Trader Joe’s Beet-Garlic dip, I decided to add them to the mix with beautiful results!

This sauce goes perfectly with my Spinach Falafel recipe.

All you need to do is give the ingredients a good whizz in a blender! Keep adding water until you get to the thickness that you like!
